Today I set up my MLSP system.
First step is to purchase a domain name. My company is Imagimarketing, Inc. so I figured imagimarketing.com was a good choice. Off to GoDaddy I go, only to find that someone else owns imagimarketing.com.
How could that be? I thought I was so clever to make up that name when I incorporated 4 years ago.
I'm here to tell you, friends, that nothing we do is that original. I settled with a .info instead.
Not bad though. GoDaddy was having a sale and I purchased imagimarketing.info for only $1.99 for the first year. Just have to remember to renew.
Next, set up my profile settings - pretty straight forward on that one.
Next came the 'income streams' or affiliate marketing that the system incorporates. This took a little more time as I had to sign up with the different companies to get the link.
NOTE - I did not sign up with VirulURL because I want to take advantage of their one time upgrade special when I can afford the $197.
I was already a member of Aweber and GetResponse so that was an easy one.
Next step was to set up my primary program to be integrated into the sales funnel.

Since I already had an aweber auto-responder account, my next step was to simply create a new list and transfer the autoresponder letters from MLSP in to my account.
I then created my first campaign. This was pretty straight forward as the web sites and capture pages were already in place. The steps that I completed already were now incorporated into those pages.
The hard part of this process is still to come. I want to replace the videos in the pages to my own. That will be for another day. Remember that the goal here is to brand yourself. The more the pages can look like you, the better.
Now my campaign is set up I want to point my new Domain name, imagimarketing.info, to my lead capture page.
This was very easy through mask forwarding by GoDaddy. No charge for that as well.
Speaking of money. So far I have only spent $1 for my 14 day trial, $1.99 for my domain name, and my $14.95 per month for Aweber (which I was already purchasing).
Oh, can't forget the $7.77 for Shop the Seven. Total investment = $25.71
Checks received from Shop the Seven = $61
So far, ahead of the game.
I tested the system and everything seems to be working properly.
Tomorrow I will work on replacing the videos.
